Installation Guide

Follow these simple steps to install ArticleVault Pro on your WordPress site.

1. Download plugin

Download the latest free version of ArticleVault Pro from the plugin directory or from AIbender.com.au

2. Upload to WordPress

In your WordPress dashboard, go to Plugins → Add New Plugin → Upload Plugin. Choose the downloaded .zip file and click Install Now.

3. Activate the Plugin

Once installation is complete, click Activate Plugin. ArticleVault will now appear in your WordPress dashboard in the side left menu

4. Configure Settings

Go to ArticleVault Settings to configure your article price, Stripe keys and appearance. 

5. Start Protecting Content

Add the ArticleVault shortcode to any post or page to protect the content you want to place behind the paywall.

The Shortcode

ArticleVault uses a simple shortcode to define the content you want to protect.

You can use the shortcode in any WordPress builder, including Elementor, Divi, Beaver Builder, Bricks, Oxygen and WordPress Block Editor (Gutenberg).

How Access Works

Secure access with a cookie.

After a reader successfully purchases an article, ArticleVault stores a secure access cookie in their browser.

This lets ArticleVault recognise the reader when they return to the page and give them access to the content they have purchased.

No account or login is required.

The plugin checks the cookie to validate access.

If valid access is found, the protected content is displayed.

Note: Clearing your browser cookies will remove the stored access information.
The reader may need to purchase access again.
